Late last week Google announced that they'd added detailed street maps and satellite images fifty-four countries around the world to Google Maps. The expansion is incredible and I thoroughly loved zooming in with great street maps of many of these places. However, I have to state for the record, my dear Google, that Aruba and Bermuda are not countries.

Its nice to see the new free information. I just checked out the Philippines, particularly Metro Manila and Google must have their projections wrong. The street data is way off from their aerial photos. You can see streets and highways overlayed on top of subdivisions. They also dont have all the streets, only the large streets (>4 lanes) and inter-province highways. I’m sure they’ll correct this, since it was just recently launched.
If Aruba and Bermuda are not countries what are they?
Yes, Matt… enlighten us as to your wisdom. I live in Bermuda and it sure seems like a country to me. Maybe he means it’s an island!
It is a country and one of the wealthiest in the world! So enlighten me too . . .
