Kosovo May Unilaterally Declare Independence

December 10, 2007 is the UN-brokered deadline for an agreement and decision between Serbia and Kosovo regarding independence for Kosovo. However, there has been no progress as of late and the leader of Kosovo, Prime Minister Agim Ceku, is suggesting that he might declare independence shortly after the December deadline.
