Denmark Wants North Pole, Too

Following last week's well-publicized move by Russia to claim the North Pole as their own, Denmark is now turning up the heat on their claim. Denmark claims that the North Pole is simply part of Greenland (a territory of Denmark) and thus belongs to the Scandinavian country. Not to be left out, Canada is also in the mix, with Prime Minister Stephen Harper on a tour of the Arctic. Canada's National Post has more.

for nations to be guide by regarding the Artic resources?

The historical residents of the North Pole region, Santa and his band of hard-
working elves, would seem to have the most legitimate claim to this patch of frozen ocean! :-)
