kosova deserves their independence they have been through a lot just for the respect and pride they have for the country as people risked their life’s in the war just to acknowledge their flags and country this independence is for the better of the country and Russia should realize that.

The Kosovar people have an inalienable right to self-determination. As the Serbian nationalists tried to eradicate them in 1999, then the Serbians lost the moral authority to govern them. Kosovo deserves independence (just like the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, by the way).
I think the recognition of Kosovo by western countries will lead to the collapse of UN. In order to avoid it, USA and Europe should not play a game around Kosovo, because Russia in responce to this may racognize the independence of Abkhasia from Georgia and Nagorni Karabakh from Azerbaijan.
If the Kosovo are recognized by USA and Europe it will open doors to separatism not only in Post Soviet space but also in Europe and USA themselves(for example Scotland and North Irland or indian tribes in USA, French minority in Canada.

Why that is every western press is pointing that Russia is Serbia’s ally? How come no one mentions that USA is Kosovo separatists ally or when writing about Middle East crises that USA is ally to Israeli?
If USA is truly supporting right of all to be free and independent than why not:
- Palestine (USA ally with Israel)
- Kurdistan (USA ally with Turkey)
- Northern Ireland (USA ally with Great Britain)
- Republika Srpska why is USA PUSHING and treating people of Republika Srpska to be part of Bosnia?
And what Serbia and Russia really have in common to be allies, only common religion? Serbia was ally to USA in two world wars!

The only mistake Serbs made is not realizing (and believing in democracy) that they could buy Kosovo. Guess Albanians offered more to USA congressmen (via lobbyists) and the deal was closed.
