U.S. Minority Population Passes 100 Million Mark

The U.S. Census Bureau reports that the minority population in the United States has surpassed 100 million, making the minority population in the U.S. the equivalent to the twelfth largest country on earth. California alone is home to more than one-fifth of the nation's minorities, about 21 million. The press relase provides additional details.
