Fastest Growing Metro Areas

The U.S. Census Bureau recently reported on the growth of metropolitan areas from 2000 through 2006. In that time period, the metro areas with the largest population increases were 1) Atlanta, 2) Dallas-Fort Worth, 3) Houston, 4) Phoenix, and 5) Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, California. The largest metropolitan areas remain New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
