I've seen various versions of the "If The World Were a Village" online for years and their not-so-accurate data always bothered me so I decided to publish my own, more accurate version, of If The World Were a Village of 100.
There is a fun family night in our village coming soon! On the last Tuesday of every month, we have a “Knitting and Movie Night”. I, of course will be bringing my COVETED copy of “Men Who Knit and the Dogs Who Love Them”, provided I don’t have too many little glasses of sherry! (I may need a ride, so maybe someone could contact me?)

Surely there’d be at least a fraction of an Australian.
Also, who would die and what type of babies would be born? I guess all three would most likely be Africans. The cause of death, disease. Both may be caused by the pope, a villain of modernity and leader of about half of those 33 Christians.

Why must you always focus on the negative? Can we discuss how to IMPROVE our lives regarding health and religion? The pope, I mean the one we have today, is not a villain…at least what I’ve read of him. If we are a studious village, we can educate ourselves with the abundance of literature and art available to us. We can learn anything we want about the different religions and possible diseases that could occur. We can also read about and hopefully prevent the non-mother-nature disasters that COULD occur. If and when these things happen, we DEAL WITH IT and do our best to cope and move forward.

“…2 would be atheists, 12 would be non-religious…”
What’s the difference? What are you using to distinguish between these two groups? Are you calling someone who believes in God but doesn’t fulfill the ritualistic demands of their faith “non religious.”

Surveys and the like seem to let you choose between “atheist” and “nonreligious”. It would be nice if they were more specific.
