National Geography has developed a three-page 14-question PDF survey, called the Global Schools Challenge, to help school personnel or parents determine how geographically prepared and knowledgeable a school is. The questions are good but the point scoring system is certainly weighed toward a large school. My three-room elementary school couldn't have scored high at all but it's a good start.
