I discovered a fantastic mapping blog called strange maps; on it are posted a plethora of interesting maps and wonderful annotations. Currently posted are maps of the U.S. Interstate Highway System, the famous "New Yorker" view of the U.S., George Orwell's world of 1984, and the Land of Oz. Fantastic!
