The city of Paris is distraught over the building of huge mega-stores on the Champs-Élysées. Champs-Élysées is the world's third highest priced commercial rent district (numbers one and two are Fifth Avenue in New York and Causeway Bay in Hong Kong) and the city is working to push away global retailers.
