Billund, Denmark has been the home of all Lego operations since the toy building brick company was founded in the 1940s. Now, Lego is moving their brick manufacturing operations out of Denmark and into the Czech Republic and Mexico. The move is an effort to reduce costs, of course. Billund is a community of about 30,000.
