Your link showing the U.S. divided into 38 states was interesting.
If I remember right wasn’t Texas (in it’s admission to the Union) supposed to be divided into 3-5 states?
What ever happened to that division?

Take a look at the border between the North of Ireland and the Irish Republic. In some places homes are separated from barns and churches from graveyards.
