Dave Barry figures your chances of getting hit by a flying bullet are greatest in Miami, and he should know.

But I figure it’s not about geography: it’s about “the other driver” — and the toughest thing to insure, still and probably always, is “taking a bath” — so, best thing to do is to stop taking baths…

What was meant by “hazardous”? Did that refer to weather, temperature, smog, terrorists threat?
Thanks

I live in Miami and absolutely agree that because of the drivers (so aggressive!), hurricanes, crime and general mayhem here, Miami is a risky town. We also have an annual shark migration up the coast along our beaches, sharks swimming gently past unknowing tourists. If only they knew! Despite this stuff, Miami is a great city though…

Columbus, Ohio tied for ninth-highest natural disaster risk? Why?

Ok this is no joke Hazrard, Ky.. I have visited this town several times and for the first few years I thought it was called Hazard, because it is built around old strip mines and there are plenty places in town you can take one step and fall 200 to 300 feet. Later I found out that it was named for one of it’s founders Perry Hazard,. Anyway it is an interesting place to visit and the people are wonderful. Just don’t get off the beaten path at night without a good flashlight.
