Heat Wave

Over 150 people in the United States have died this summer as a result of heat-related emergencies. NOAA Magazine discusses heat-related hazards and how to prevent against heat-related emergencies. NOAA reports that, "More above normal temperatures are expected for much of the nation throughout the month of August, as has been the case in the continental U.S. for all of 2006."

Your geography trivia stated that Bagdad was the 1st city to reach 1 million residents, in the 700’s, but another trivia site listed Rome as the 1st city to reach 1 million residents in the year 133 B.C. Who’s correct?
