Thanks to geo-blogger Catholicgauze for mentioning the fascinating Give Geography its Place campaign, a UK-based grassroots effort to raise the profile of geography as an academic subject. Geography as with geology - these subjects obscured, the media dare not speak their name!!! Over the past few years I too have been on a mission to declare and proclaim - remove the veil, unearth the ’secret’ deploying UGAAP Geothrillogy.
I applaud you and sign up to this much needed initiative - from local to global scale we all, each need to be better attuned to our environmental responsibilities as well as opportunities.
