Cheryl wrote to ask if her name had ever been on the Atlantic tropic storm name list and if not, how could she have her name added. Well, since the name Cheryl wasn't retired as a storm name and isn't on any of the upcoming lists, I sadly informed her that she'd have to wait for a hurricane with a female name that starts with C to be retired and then hope that the World Meteorological Organization decides to use Cheryl to replace the retired name. It might be quite a wait!
