Czech Republic Lacks One-Word Name

The Prague Daily Monitor reports that thirteen years after the independence of the Czech Republic, the country still lacks a one-word name to identify itself in English. Most countries have a long-form official name and a short one-world common name. For example, Argentina's long name is the Argentine Republic. Some long-standing suggestions include Czechia and Czecho.
