U.S. Census Bureau Selects Test Sites for 2010 Census

The U.S. Census Bureau announced yesterday that San Joaquin County, California and a nine-county region surrounding Fayetteville, North Carolina have been selected by the Bureau to serve in 2008 as the dress rehearsal sites for the 2010 Census. This means that in 2008 the Bureau will test their operations in anticipation of the decennial census two years later. The 2010 Census will be a short-form-only census.
