The Longest Day of the Year

Now that the Northern Hemisphere is fully immersed in the darkness of winter, it's time to think about looking forward to the longest day of the year. Interestingly, the summer solstice in June is not necessarily the day when the sun rises earliest nor when it sets the latest. Check out my article for some interesting comparisons between lengths of day for various cities from Nairobi to Anchorage and beyond.
