The U.S. Census Bureau has released an interesting report, Indicators of Marriage and Fertility in the United States from the American Community Survey (ACS): 2000 to 2003. The report provides a plethora of new statistics based on the ACS. For instance, Mississippi was the state with the highest percentage of unwed mothers while Utah had the lowest. Additionally, Arkansas leads the nation in teen mothers while Massachusetts has the smallest percentage of teen mothers.
