Celebrate Unmarried and Single Americans Week

Sunday September 18, 2005
Happy "Unmarried and Single Americans Week!" (Sept. 18-24) The U.S. Census Bureau provides some interesting facts about the country's single and unmarried population. For example - there are 100 unmarried and single Americans (which is 44% of the age 15 and older population), 53% of whom are women. In 2002, 33% of the nations births were to unmarried women and there are a mere 87 unmarried men age 15 and over for every 100 unmarried women.
