Chinese City Bans Foreign Names

Although foreign sounding names are quite popular in China, the Chinese city of Kunming is banning toponyms (place names) that are foreign. Among the banned names are places like, "Paris of the East Plaza," "French Gardens," and "Ginza Office Tower."
