L.A. County Has Most Businesses and Workers

Los Angeles County leads the nation in the number of businesses (235,085) and workers (3.8 million) in those businesses. Cook County (Illinois) and New York County (Manhattan) ranked second and third in the U.S. Census Bureau report.
