Some predict that Las Vegas, with its incredibly quickly-growing suburbs, could run out of water sources within the next 50 years. While some point to the abundant use of water on the Vegas Strip, hotels only account for 7% of the region's water and 70% of the hotel's water use is indoors - in guest rooms and restaurants. On the other hand, 70% of residential water use is outdoors.
