The United States Congress has passed the energy bill that would extend Daylight Saving Time by four weeks from the second Sunday of March to end on the first Sunday of November. President Bush is expected to sign the bill, making it law, next Monday (August 8) in Albuquerque at Sandia Labs. Once the bill becomes a law, the change to Daylight Saving Time will begin in March 2007. See my article about Daylight Saving Time for the new "spring forward, fall back" dates for the next few years.
