The Fourth of July

As they do with every major holiday, the U.S. Census Bureau has published a collection of facts and figures related to the Fourth of July. Among the notable facts: the estimated U.S. population on July 4 will be 296.5 million, 150 million hot dogs will be consumed, and the fireworks imported from China last year totaled $164.2 million.
