The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that 2002 was the 63rd year in a row that more boys were born than girls in the United States. The birth ratio in the U.S. for 2002 was 1048 boys born for every 1000 girls. Boys have outnumbered girls since 1940. More from the CDC.
