Pretoria Name Change Update

The metropolitan council of Pretoria, South Africa has voted to change the name of the city, which also serves as the administrative capital of South Africa, to Tshwane. The change now needs only to be approved by South Africa's Geographic Names Council and the national minister of arts and culture. The federal government has expressed no opposition thus far.
