Unfortunately, major celebrities don't seem to study much geography. However, there are a few famous people who studied (or are currently studying) geography. Check them out.
It would be more beneficial to list geographers as FAMOUS, as those who have greatly contributed to the history and concepts of geography.

Does anybody know of a list of modern people who have studied Geography and then gone on to be successful/use their skills? I need to write an inspiring piece for my school to hopefully persuade more students to choose Geography at GCSE level. Help anybody??

yeah I agree with bob. if I’m looking for a famous geographer, I don’t mean a famous person studying it…There has to be at least 1 person that was famous for his work in geography!
