1/8 of Pitcairn Island Population Charged in Crimes

Six residents of the tiny Pacific island territory of Pitcairn (total population 47) were charged in sex crimes, making the future of the island's economy uncertain. Several of the men jailed serve as the crew for a longboat that is Pitcairn's lifeline to the outside world.
