State Department Travel Site Updated

The U.S. Department of State has improved the information and services available on the travel.state.gov website. In addition to a major redesign, the site provides an Internet-Based Registration System that enables U.S. citizens to register themselves and fellow travelers, itineraries, and emergency contact information through the Internet. The site also includes new country-specific listservs that registrants can join to receive, via email, updates to Consular Information Sheets, Public Announcements, and Travel Warnings specific to their favorite countries.
