Sunshine State is Partly Cloudy State

Five states see more sunshine than Florida, which is known as the Sunshine State. "We ought to call ourselves the Partly Cloudy State instead of the Sunshine State," said Miami-based meteorologist Jim Lushine (yes, that Jim Lushine!) to the Associated Press. Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas all see more sun than Florida.
