Thailand Debates National Day

For 28 years after a 1938 coup , June 24 was celebrated as Thailand’s national day until it was cancelled by Field Marshal Sarit Thanarath. Today, some think it might be time to again celebrate June 24 as Thailand’s national day. More from The Nation in Bangkok.
