Geography in Action: The Amazing Race

One of my favorite reality-game television shows is The Amazing Race - it's really very geographical. It shows teams of people traveling between countries, flying around the world between exotic locales, and, most interestingly, shows players trying to get by in a foreign place with limited knowledge of the environment. As a side benefit, the players and the audience get to learn a bit more about the world and global cultures. The next season begins July 6 on CBS with eleven teams of two - don't miss it!
