Meteorologist Jim Lushine from the National Weather Service in Miami, Florida has discovered that an imaginary line exists along longitude 68° West from 19° to 26° North, north of the Dominican Republic. Of the 14 major hurricanes that have struck Florida since 1851, twelve have passed over the imaginary boundary. Learn more about the Lushine Line from the Palm Beach Post.
