Iraq has a new flag, which looks a lot different from the old flag. You can see the new flag and read about the controversy over it in this article
from the BBC. The new flag has a white background with two dark blue stripes on the bottom, separated by a yellow stripe. The blue stripes represent the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers while the yellow stripe represents the Kurds. A blue crescent lies in the upper portion of the flag.

The new flag sucks. The old one was much better and it represented Iraq truely. It has nothing to do with Saddam’s regime. It only says “Allahu Akbar” and that’s no shame.
