State Geographic Bee Winners Announced

The National Geographic Society announced the 55 state-level winners in the National Geographic Bee. The 55 represent the 50 states along with the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the Pacific Territories, and the overseas U.S. Department of Defense schools. Of the 55, there are only four females and six are homeschooled. The group will advance to the National Geographic Bee finals on May 25 in Washington D.C. Ten finalists will advance to the final round on May 26.
