Mapping the News Conference

The Association of American Geographers, ESRI, and the National Geographic Society are sponsoring the 2004 Mapping the News conference for journalists and geographers to "to explore how geographic understanding, information, and technology combine to enhance the world of media and the news." The special focus of this conference, to be held in Washington D.C. from May 14-15, will be mapping elections.
