The United Nations has released some of the longest-term population predictions I've ever seen; they look toward the year 2300. The U.N. states that if current fertility levels remain constant, the global population will hit 134 trillion by 2300. However, they actually expect that fertility will decrease and the global population will be 9 billion in 300 years, up from the current population of approximately 6.3 billion today. More from the BBC.

This is scary and completely unacceptable. The world does not need that many people!
Children ARE PRECIOUS yes, I know but every child should be brought into this world by two loving parents and have a stable life.
