The government of Malaysia will provide guidelines in naming new places to avoid confusion as well as to ensure the chosen names aptly reflect the places, said Land and Cooperative Development Minister Tan Sri Kasitah Gaddam said Thursday (Oct. 16). The National Committee for Geographical Names (NCGN) headed by the Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia, will oversee development of the guidelines. More from Utusan Online.
