The Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index 2003 provides an index (on a scale of 0-10) for the perceived corruption in 133 countries, as evaluated by business people, academics and risk analysts. At number one and with a score of 9.7. was Finland while Bangladesh scored a 1.3 and was ranked last. Australia (#8) beat Canada and the U.K. (tied at #11) and all three beat the U.S. (#18).
