46% of U.S. Moved from '95-'00

Saturday September 27, 2003
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, about 120 million (46%) of the nation's population that was 5 years old and over in 2000 lived in a different home than they did in 1995. 25% moved within the same county, 10% between counties in the same state and 8% between states; 3% had moved from abroad. Nevada led all states in the mobility of its population — 63% were movers. Want to move? Check out my Relocation Resources.
