Glacial Lake Agassiz Disrupted Climate

According to a recent study, Lake Agassiz, which was formed by ice dams in central Canada and was twice the size of the Great Lakes, burst through its ice dams 8,200 years ago and flowed into the Atlantic, disrupting the climate in the Northern Hemisphere for 200 years.
