Good news for earthlings! A new computer simulation developed by scientists in Britain and Russia shows that asteroids 200 yards wide will hit the earth only every 160,000 years. These tiny asteroids won't destroy the planet, however. The massive near-earth objects measuring more than a kilometer, which strike the earth every 700,000 years, will cause global devastation.
