Nine cities are in the running for the 2012 Summer Games. The BBC published the strengths and weaknesses along with the odds of each city winning the games: Rio de Janeiro (14-1), New York (8-1), London (6-4), Leipzig (25-1), Havana (100-1), Madrid (5-1), Moscow (16-1), Paris (2-1) and Istanbul (33-1). On July 6, 2005 the IOC will meet in Singapore to choose the host for the 2012 Games.
