Many American travelers count the number of states they have visited. According to a recent poll of 2100 U.S. residents by Fodor's, 41 percent of people stated they have visited fewer than 20 states, 22 percent said they have been to 21-30 states, and 36 percent have been to more than 31 states! I have no idea what happened to the other one percent.
Personally, I fell into the 22 percent of those who have traveled to 21-30 states as I have a meager 22 states under my belt. The Fodor's poll inspired me to create a poll of my own on the Geography Forum. Please take a moment to participate! Thanks!
