Researchers tested the responses of citizens in 23 cities worldwide to determine the kindness of its population. On top were 1) Rio de Janiero, Brazil, 2) San Jose, Costa Rica, and 3) Lilongwe, Malawi. The least helpful were 1) Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2) New York City, and 3) Singapore.
